In a world that seems so fast, breadmaking is s l o w. It is simple, but not “easy.” In my kitchen, the only appliance I use is an oven— all else is done by hand. The antithesis of mass production, each loaf is attended to with care. It is a labor of love, and I do hope you enjoy it. If you don’t eat it all in one sitting, one loaf can last a whole week!
